Ham radio Film ” Interference”

Summary Interference is about John Upton, a ham radio operator, who picks up anomalous radio transmission. He sets out to discover the source of the transmission through triangulation of the signal, and inadvertently stumbles upon an international drug ring. Watch the rest of Interference to see how Mr. Upton extricates himself from the thugs and finds love in the process. History Interference is an original short written by the original members of the superhouse creative team: Shane Sevo, Joe Wells, and Greg Morrison. It was the first project to attempt to fully utilize both the talents and site resources of superhouse, and allow us to begin to realize the original vision of superhouse. It was created as part of the National Film Challenge. The NFC is an annual contest in which teams from around the nation compete to write, shoot, and edit a film short. The teams receive their instructions at 7 pm local time Friday evening, and must have their finished project postmarked the following Monday. Awards Interference was awarded Best Action / Adventure from the NFC. Interference placed second in the Short Form category with the Central Michigan International Film Festival.

More Demos of PSK-31 and Ham Radio Deluxe and DM-780 Program from KI7F

**** RE-EDITED VERSION **** Just some more video footage of my amateur (Ham) radio/SWL "shack" at my apartment in Denver, Colorado. I was demonstrating some of the features of the Ham Radio Deluxe (HRD) software program as well as the Digital Master780 software which integrates with the HRD program. I also showed the PSK Reporter map and how the PSK-31 stations I receive are plotted on a world map on the PSK-Reporter website, etc. You can view the PSK Reporter map at pskreporter.info The Grundig Satellit 800 receiver I am currently using is essentially a repackaged Drake R8 receiver. I am planning to purchase a Yaesu FT-950 HF rig in just a few months and also plan to use the Rig Blaster unit for interfacing the rig with the computer, etc. I do plan to operate PSK-31 or course as well as CW and SSB. With indoor antennas, I may be forced to operate at QRP power levels. At the moment I can operate on the ten meter band with my old Realistic HTX-100 ten meter rig and using a ten meter dipole installed on my apartment balcony. For more information about Ham Radio Deluxe or Digital Master 780, go to their website at www.ham-radio-deluxe.com My home website: www.ki7f.com E-mail ki7f@yahoo.com

20m End Fed Half Wave Portable Ham Radio “DX” Antenna

20m End Fed Half Wave Ham Radio Antenna: Icom 703 with MFJ 16010 L-network tuner and 10.4m long insulated wire fed through a window and supported by a bush. The first contact using this antenna was with EI7GVB/Ireland, second contact with AA7VW/Oregon. No ground connection or counterpoise wire was used, and so it seems that this EFHW wire and MFJ L-Network tuner will work fine as a portable antenna on 20m (especially if it is installed in a more nearly vertical position).

Ham Radio QRP 12,000 miles
